The team beat Rudder in the first round of playoffs in a penalty kick shootout, 5-3. The Panthers (12-7-5) beat Rudder (11-7-4) in the first round of playoffs on March 20. The game was tied 0-0 at the end of regulation and overtime and went to a penalty kick shootout to decide who would advance to the area championship.
