VERMILLION, S.D. — South Dakota used a huge late-game rally to take down South Dakota State, 8-6, in Summit League action Sunday at Nygaard Field. The Coyotes found themselves in an early hole after SDSU jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning on a pair of home runs. USD quickly answered in the second, tying the game at 3-3 behind a two-RBI double from Madison Evans and aggressive baserunning that kept pressure on the Jackrabbits' defense.
