Woodward wins medalist honors, men鈥檚 golf takes first in Otterbein Thaw Out
HARRODSBURG, Ky. 鈥� In their spring debut at the Otterbein Thaw Out, the Otterbein University men’s golf team won the invitational with a two-day score of 276-285 鈥� 561 (-12). Carter Woodward won medalist honors after a two-hole playoff to cap off a weekend where he shot 68-71 鈥� 139 (-5). The round of 68 on Saturday was a new season-best for the senior. Otterbein’s ‘A’ team was the only team to shoot under par in the event. Led by Woodward, Clay Bruning placed fourth for the Cardinals after shooting a 70-70 鈥� 140 for the weekend, marking new season-lows.…
