Woodward wins medalist honors, men’s golf takes first in Otterbein Thaw Out
HARRODSBURG, Ky. – In their spring debut at the Otterbein Thaw Out, the Otterbein University men’s golf team won the invitational with a two-day score of 276-285 – 561 (-12). Carter Woodward won medalist honors after a two-hole playoff to cap off a weekend where he shot 68-71 – 139 (-5). The round of 68 on Saturday was a new season-best for the senior. Otterbein’s ‘A’ team was the only team to shoot under par in the event. Led by Woodward, Clay Bruning placed fourth for the Cardinals after shooting a 70-70 – 140 for the weekend, marking new season-lows.…
