BRONY, N.Y. – The Fordham women's tennis team had its first spring match on the Hawthorn/Rooney Courts and made quick work of the match, shutting out Saint Joseph's 4-0 on Sunday. Fordham opened the match taking the doubles point, winning both completed doubles matches. Lily Chitambar and Valerija Kargina won at second doubles over Elena Fleming and June Tronhus, 6-1, and Catalina Padilla and Paola Dalmonico took third doubles from Valeria Casusol and Amari O'Brien by the same score.
