URochester Cards Third Straight Sub-300 Round at Jekyll Island
JEKYLL ISLAND, GA 鈥� For the third straight day, the University of Rochester golf team fired a solid sub-300 team round, ending in 22nd place at the Jekyll Island Invitational at the Pine Lakes Course at the Jekyll Island Resort. The Yellowjackets finished each of the three days in 22nd place and ended the event with a team score of 884, shooting rounds of 297, 292 and 295. Overall, 30 teams competed, with the Jekyll Island Invite annually being one of the toughest fields in Division III golf.
