Purchase Defeated in Skyline Showdown
PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – The Purchase College women’s lacrosse team was defeated in the Skyline Conference opener Saturday afternoon, falling to the St. Joseph’s University-Long Island by the score of 22-5. With the result, the Panthers are now 0-3 overall and 0-1 in the league. For the Golden Eagles, they improved to 1-6 and 1-0, respectively. On the day, the hosts scored early and often, as they lead 7-1 after the first, and 15-2 by halftime.
