Prairie Fire Work Extra Innings to Top Carleton on Sunday
The Prairie Fire (2-13) baseball team wrapped the weekend in Florida at the Russ Matt Central Florida Invite, going 1-3. Knox ends its time in Florida on Monday morning, taking on Union. The Prairie Fire’s lone victory of the weekend came when the squad topped Carleton 7-6 in 10 innings. Earlier in that game, Knox led 6-2 going to the bottom of the ninth, but Carleton rallied, tying the game with four runs.
