Patriots Win 6-1 Over Ferrum Women
ROCKY MOUNT, Va. — The Ferrum College women’s tennis team was defeated by Francis Marion University in Conference Carolinas play Saturday, March 21, falling 6-1 at Franklin County Rec Park. RECORDS Ferrum 0-9, 0-3 CC Francis Marion 4-5, 3-1 CC THE BASICS Francis Marion dominated the singles competition, winning five of the six matches. Ferrum’s lone victory came from Bianca Solorzano at No. 1 singles, where she defeated Lara Lanno 7-6, 6-2.
