Grinnell snaps 7-game losing streak in return to Iowa
PELLA, Iowa – A return to Iowa meant good things for the Grinnell College baseball team Sunday afternoon. The Pioneers, who were riding a seven-game losing streak from their spring break trip to Tennessee and Florida, broke out the bats in an 11-4 victory at Central College. The win pushed Grinnell to 4-11 on the season ahead of Monday’s home opener against Augsburg University. Grinnell never trailed in the game after scoring twice in the top of the first inning.
