Four RBI Day by Gallegos Helps Sharks Complete Sweep of Stonehill
BROOKLYN, N.Y. 鈥� The Long Island University softball team improved to 6-0 in NEC play after defeating Stonehill College 10-2 at the LIU Softball Complex in Brooklyn. With the win, the Sharks completed the regular season sweep of the Skyhawks. While each team remained scoreless through the first inning, LIU sophomore Samantha Gallegos put the Sharks ahead 2-0 with an RBI single. Two at-bats later, junior Lily Hinkle extended the LIU lead to 3-0 with an RBI single.
