Comets Tied for First in LSC after Series Sweep of Falcons
RICHARDSON, Texas – The UT Dallas baseball team completed the four-game series sweep of UT Permian Basin with a 19-2, seven-inning victory at UTD Baseball Field Sunday. With the win, the Comets move into a three-way tie with St. Mary’s and UT Tyler atop the Lone Star Conference standings at 22-8 with 20 games to play. The host team shut down the Falcons (8-22 LSC) throughout the entire weekend, outscoring them 54-9 and leading in hits 52-25.
