Colby Shines at Emory Spring Break Classic with Historic Performances
Atlanta, Ga. 鈥� The Colby College track & field teams delivered a series of historic performances at the Emory Spring Break Classic, held March 20-21 at Emory University, highlighted by multiple school records and top-10 all-time program marks. The women’s program was headlined by Olivia Doherty , who broke the school record in the 800 meters with a second-place finish in 2:12.10. Kaitlyn Ewald and Alex Hermsdorf both shone in the 400 meters, with Ewald placing fourth in 56.53 and Hermsdorf eighth in 57.91, the latter entering Colby’s all-time top 10 in the event.
