Boxers Top Lutes in Series Finale
FOREST GROVE, Ore. — A late rally derailed the Pacific Lutheran University baseball team’s plan for a series sweep with the Lutes stumbling 6-4 to Northwest Conference rival Pacific University on Sunday at Chuck Bafaro Stadium. PLU (5-8, 3-5 NWC) entered the game looking to sweep the series after collecting a pair of 7-6 extra inning victories on Saturday.
