Boxers defeat Pacific Lutheran in series finale to avoid sweep
The Pacific baseball team earned a much-need Northwest Conference victory Sunday afternoon, defeating Pacific Lutheran 6-4 to avoid a series sweep and break a seven-game losing streak. Trailing 4-2 through five innings, the Boxers had to rally. Javin Hamura doubled to right field with one out in the bottom of the sixth and scored on an RBI single to center field by Will Shelor to get Pacific within a run at 4-3.
