Women’s tennis picks up huge victory over Providence on senior day
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – Binghamton women’s tennis (4-7) picked up a huge victory in a nail-biting 4-3 win over Providence (4-8) on Saturday afternoon at the Lane – Starke Tennis Center. Apara Khandare and Sara Kotz earned a 6-4 victory in doubles action. Providence claimed a doubles victory as well, leaving Samantha Jaros and Angel Walia to go on and clinch the doubles point after winning in a tight 7-6 (7-5) set. Loren Cuomo and Apara Khandare won in straights to earn Binghamton’s next two points. Providence won three singles matches to tie the score at 3-3 with one match remaining.…
