Women鈥檚 Tennis Edges Nicholls, 4-3
The Incarnate Word women's tennis team won their second Southland Conference match in a row, pulling out a 4-3 victory at Nicholls Saturday afternoon. The win brings the Cardinals' record to 3-8 overall and 2-2 in SLC play. Incarnate Word earned the doubles point to go up 1-0 after wins at first and second doubles. Luciana Paez and Amelie Montalvo posted a 6-1 win at second doubles and Estefania Gonzalez and Ina Lamprecht clinched the doubles point with a 6-3 victory at first doubles.
