Women鈥檚 Tennis Clipped By Rochester, 4-3
MEADVILLE, Pa. — The Allegheny College women’s tennis team was edged by the University of Rochester, 4-3, in a non-conference match on the blue courts inside the David V. Wise Center on Saturday. Saturday’s showdown came down to the wire. Despite losing the doubles point, the Gators (14-5) took a 2-1 lead after first-year Gabrielle Bassette (Miami, Fla./Miami Country Day School) and junior Emiliia Grydnieva (Kyiv, Ukraine/Optima) won the top two singles matches.
