WALLA WALLA, Wash. – Sarah Hawkins buried the golden goal 47 seconds into overtime as the Whitman College women’s lacrosse team edged Kalamazoo College 13–12 in a wild back-and-forth thriller Saturday afternoon at James Hayner Field. Hawkins finished with four goals and one assist, including the overtime winner on a woman-up chance and two fourth-quarter strikes that erased a 10–8 deficit and pulled the Blues even at 10–10.
