Women’s Lacrosse Taken Down by Pfeiffer on Saturday
Misenheimer, N.C. — Greensboro College Women’s Lacrosse (2-7, 1-3) dropped a USA South matchup Saturday afternoon, falling 20–4 to Pfeiffer University (8-3, 2-2). Pfeiffer controlled the momentum early, netting six goals in the opening quarter. Greensboro’s Genesis Chinchilla, Ashley Angel, and goalkeeper D’Kayla Thomasson contributed multiple ground balls and defensive stops, but turnovers limited the Pride’s transition opportunities. Greensboro broke through in the second quarter as Brynly ManWaring scored her first of two goals on a man-up opportunity at the 12:35 mark.
