Women鈥檚 Lacrosse Bitten by Tigers
ANGOLA, Ind. 鈥� The Trine University women’s lacrosse team fell 9-6 to Wittenberg University on Saturday afternoon at Fred Zollner Athletic Stadium. Isabel Fischer and Evalyn Bellotti each had two goals for the Thunder (4-2). Wittenberg moves to 2-6 with the win. Bellotti had six ground balls and two caused turnovers to go with her pair of goals. Elizabeth Larson and Sydney Strolberg added a pair of caused turnovers. Trine started well, taking a 2-1 lead in the first quarter behind both of Fischer’s goals.
