W&L Men’s Swimming Concludes NCAA Championship with 400 Free Relay All-America Laurels
INDIANAPOLIS — Washington and Lee closed competition at the 2026 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday with a 15th-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay at the IU Natatorium, earning Second Team All-America honors, while junior Leighton Chapman also competed in the 100-yard freestyle. Chapman posted a time of 44.75 in the preliminary heats of the 100 freestyle. The quartet of Chapman, William Gordon, Charles Byars and Dalton Jobe placed 15th overall in the 400 freestyle relay with a finals time of 3:00.42.
