Wildcat Offense Stymied in Loss
PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University softball team had a few early chances, but then the bats fell silent in a 6-0 loss to the Texas A&M-San Antonio Jaguars Saturday afternoon at Wildcat Park to drop the series. Texas A&M-San Antonio (13-12, 6-6 RRAC) plated one in the top of the first inning, but Louisiana Christian (13-15, 5-7 RRAC) had a great chance to jump ahead right out of the gate as both Mariel Medrano and Lexi Broussard started the bottom of the first with back-to-back base hits through the left side of the Jaguar defense.
