Westminster wins on Senior Recognition Day
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.–The Westminster men’s tennis team secured a 5-2 Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) victory against Thiel Saturday afternoon. Westminster won the doubles point as sophomore William Nebiolo (Glenshaw, Pa., Shaler) and freshman Aydan Gross (Mount Pleasant, Pa., Mount Pleasant ) defeated Tyrus Horton and Bret Vilage 6-2 at No. 1 doubles while seniors Colin Fabich (Erie, Pa., Harbor Creek) and Dunil Karunaratne (Johnstown, Pa., Westmont Hilltop) picked up a 6-2 No. 2 doubles win over Trey Grazier and Trenton McCoy. Nebiolo and Gross won at No. 5 and 6 singles, respectively, with forfeits to extend the lead to 3-0.…
