Track and Field Wraps Up TCU Alumni Invite
FORT WORTH, Texas – The Illinois Wesleyan University track and field teams completed action at the TCU Alumni Invitational, contested Saturday, March 21, at the Lowdon Track & Field Complex in Fort Worth, Texas. The competition was the first of the outdoor season for the Titans. Freshman Mallory Short (Lincoln, Ill.-Lincoln) posted a career-best time in the women’s 400m, earning a top-20 finish in the event. Short’s time of 58.06 was good for 16th-place. Sophomore Kelsey Moore (Arcola, Ill.-Arcola) also posted a top-20 finish, running a time of 1:10.87 in the women’s 400m hurdles.
