Track and Field shows well at Big South-SoCon Challenge
ASHEVILLE, N.C. 鈥� The VMI track and field teams played their part in representing the Southern Conference at the 2026 Big South-SoCon Challenge hosted by UNC Asheville in Asheville, North Carolina. Complete Results Cameron Thomas broke his own school record in the pole vault with a first-place height of 5.11 meters (16′ 9.25″), topping his previous best of 16′ 8.75″ set in 2025.
