St. John鈥檚 Kickoffs the Outdoor Season at USF Alumni Invitational
TAMPA, Fla. 鈥� The St. John’s track and field team began the outdoor season with a trip to Tampa, Fla., for the USF Alumni Invitational. The Red Storm secured two wins and six top-10 finishes, highlighted by Naiara Garcia-Morenos 800-meter/1,500-meter gold medal double. Cassandra Lemus-Sodji also kept her championship form, placing second in the long jump. Garcia-Moreno’s time of 2-mintues, 5.36 seconds in the half-mile ranks fourth in the NCAA East Region and on top of the BIG EAST.
