Softball Wraps Up Florida Trip with Two Run-Rule Wins
Clermont, Fla. — The UW-Whitewater softball team wrapped up its 2026 Florida trip with an offensive onslaught Saturday. The Warhawks scored 27 runs on 30 hits in just 10 innings to secure a pair of run-rule wins. Game One: UWW 12, Kalamazoo 0 Warhawk pitchers Madi DeBennette (Wadsworth, Ill./Carmel Catholic) and Aubrey Lepak (Lake Mills, Wis./Lake Mills) combined to toss five innings of one-hit ball in the shutout.
