Softball Bats Silent in PAC Opener
BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Geneva College softball team could not get its offense going on Saturday afternoon at home against preseason Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) favorite Westminster, and the Titans left town with wins of 7-1 and 5-1 in the doubleheader.Geneva is now 11-5 overall. Senior Sophia Tvaroch took the circle in game one, and after a scoreless first inning, three walks led to two Westminster runs in the top of the second to put Geneva in an early hole.
