ROCK HILL, S.C. - The Gardner-Webb softball team (23-12, 3-3 Big South) dropped its series finale at Winthrop (18-15, 4-2 Big South) on Saturday afternoon in a low-scoring game, 3-2 Down a run in the second, Gardner-Webb was able to manufacture a run to tie the game.
