Robinson leads the way for GC men鈥檚 track and field team
Results MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Luke Robinson ’26 of Grinnell College was champion in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational. Robinson ran the race in 9 minutes, 26.29 seconds, which ranks fourth in GC history. Other top 10 finishers for Grinnell in the 46-team meet were Jack Lakin ’29 in the 5000 (seventh in 15:36.50), Jake Bell ’27 in the discus (eighth at 44.73 meters) and 4×200 relay team of Eli Grzelewski ’29, Jack Novelle ’26, Linus O’Brien ’28 and Caden Pfister ’27 (fifth in 1:30.10).
