Redlands Baseball drops series opener to No. 13 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps
AZUSA, Calif. – The University of Redlands baseball team (10-12, 4-3) lost game one, 12-4, against No. 13 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS), at Azusa Pacific University (APU), Friday afternoon as their lone runs came on a grand slam in the fourth off the bat of Sean McCance. The Stags took a 5-0 lead after three innings thanks to a pair of home runs in the third. In the top of the fourth, though, Tanner Gerosa, Nate Miller, and Anthony Thomas all singled to start the inning.
