Pioneer women鈥檚 tennis team earns doubles point before Mary Washington pulls away for victory
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Grinnell College’s women’s tennis team earned the doubles point to begin the day against nationally-ranked Mary Washington, but the hosts then won five of six singles matches to collect a 5-2 win Saturday. Grinnell posted wins over the 34th-ranked foe in doubles by the No. 1 squad of Paige Sargent ’27 and Isa Voinescu ’26 (6-3) and No. 3 team of Eliana Martin ’29-Tan Mukherjee ’26 (6-4).
