Owls ring up 4 records at Belhaven Invitational
JACKSON, Miss. 鈥� The W track and field teams traveled south to compete in the Belhaven Invitational on Saturday afternoon in a non-team scoring meet. The Owls managed to produce a pair of event winners and set four school records. Both event wins came in the women’s competition and both produced MUW records, as well. The first was from junior distance specialist Hannah Owens , who won the 5,000-meter run. Owens, running in her first meet of the season, topped her own MUW record with a clocking of 20:11.94 minutes, more than 17 seconds faster than her previous best (20:29.51).…
