No. 20 Ephs defeat No. 18 Case Western Reserve, 5-2
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Senior captain Mia Thomann and first-year Ayanna Varma of the No. 20-ranked Williams College women’s tennis team won in singles and doubles action, respectively, as the Ephs defeated No. 18 Case Western Reserve, 5-2, on Saturday afternoon at Christopher Newport. Thomann and Varma won by a score of 6-0 at No. 2 doubles for the Ephs (5-1, 2-1 NESCAC), and then first-year Katelyn Wu and junior Margaux Molyneux emerged victorious, 7-6 (7-5), during the third position to clinch the one doubles point for Williams.
