NDSU Softball Drops Game Two to Omaha
OMAHA, Neb. – North Dakota State softball fell in game two of its Summit League series with Omaha, losing 2-0 to the Mavericks at Connie Claussen Field. Omaha took the lead on a solo home run on the first pitch of the second inning and added another solo home run in the sixth inning to cap the scoring in the game. NDSU had the most threatening inning for either team, loading the bases in the fifth inning, but Omaha made a pitching change and got out of the jam with a strikeout and ground out.
