MU Falls 7-0 to Illinois State
The Marquette University women's tennis team fell 7-0, Saturday afternoon to Illinois State at the Gregory Street Tennis Courts. The Redbirds opened the match by taking the crucial doubles point with wins at the No. 2 and 3 positions. Illinois State then picked up six straight-set singles victories to secure the win. Four Golden Eagles saw their matches go into extended sets with Emma Davis , Aiyana Abbott , and Luciana Mendoza claiming first set wins.
