Mountaineers Have Wright Stuff on Defense, but Fall One Goal Shy to Merrimack
EMMITSBURG, Md. (March 21, 2026) 鈥� Junior goalie Bennett Wright and the Mount St. Mary's defense put together a solid defensive effort, but it was matched by Merrimack Saturday. The Warriors were able to eke out one more score to defeat the Mountaineers 9-8. Wright finished the contest with 12 saves, stopping 57 percent of all shots on goal.
