LocalSportsJournal.com The Mona Shores girls soccer team opened the season with a tough task on Friday, facing defending state champs Hudsonville Unity Christian. The Sailors held off Unity Christian for much of the game but ultimately fell 2-0. The game was scoreless by halftime, but Unity Christian found the back of the net with 16 minutes left to play to open the scoring.
