Men鈥檚 Tennis Opens Southland Slate with 6-1 Win Over Nicholls
The Incarnate Word men’s tennis team started their 2026 Southland Conference campaign with a 6-1 road victory over Nicholls Saturday afternoon. The Cardinals are now 9-2 on the season and 1-0 in SLC play. Incarnate Word got off to a fast start, winning all three doubles matches to take the doubles point. Emilio Vila and Augustin Salazar cruised to a 6-0 win at third doubles, followed by near-identical 6-1 win by Santiago Flyckt and Marcel Miralles at first doubles to seal the doubles point. For good measure, Alejandro Hernandez and Alexandre Chauvel pulled out a 6-4 win at second doubles.…
