Men’s Tennis Defeats UNC Asheville, 5-2
ASHEVILLE, N.C. — The Longwood men's tennis team defeated UNC Asheville, 5-2, on the road Saturday. With the win, Longwood's third consecutive, the Lancers improve to 6-4 overall and 1-1 in the Big South while dropping the Bulldogs to 10-5 and 0-1, respectively. Longwood won both doubles matches to finish, earning the doubles point. Daniel Lopez and Alejandro Uribe defeated Leo Kolbe and Daniel Franco-Key, 6-3, at No. 3 before Timéo Puech and Daniel Borisov topped Griffin Lovern and Harrison Cooper by the same score at No. 1.
