Men鈥檚 Rowing sweeps Mercyhurst, falls to Wisconsin
MARIETTA, Ohio 鈥� The Marietta College men’s rowing team opened the spring racing season on the Muskingum River Saturday (Mar. 21) afternoon. The Pioneers hosted Wisconsin, Mercyhurst, and the Milwaukee School of Engineering. “We had really good hard racing with Mercyhurst sweeping them in each race,” Marietta head coach Greg Myhr said. Wisconsin took it to us in every event. It was a really nice start to the season, but there is more speed to get. Marietta beat Mercyhurst in the varsity 8+, second varsity 8+, and the varsity 4+.
