Hornets Baseball Falls in Series Finale at Columbia
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Harris-Stowe State University baseball fell 18-6 on Saturday afternoon to Columbia College at Battle High School. With the loss, the Hornets fall to 1-14 on the season and 0-9 in American Midwest Conference play while the Cougars improve to 16-7-1 on the season and 7-1-1 on the season. Junior first baseman Brayden Hatley (St. Louis, Mo.) singled down the right field line to start the Hornets second. Hatley moved to third on a groundout.
