Golden Eagles Defeat Villanova 4-2
The Marquette University men’s tennis team secured a 4-2 win over Villanova on Saturday night. The doubles contest came down the wire as Marquette duo, Blake Roegner and Hugh Perrill clinched a 6-1 win in the first position. Villanova then picked up two doubles wins in the second and third positions. Villanova picked up one singles win as Kush Anand defeated Luke Coppage on court five, but it was the Golden Eagles that clinched the match. MU recorded three straight set singles wins in the victory. Kristian Blagoev logged a 6-1, 6-3 win over Will Monahan in the second position.…
