Fourth quarter comeback falls short as Thoroughbreds lose to Union, 10-9
SCHENECTADY, NY 鈥� The Skidmore College women’s lacrosse team mounted a valiant fourth-quarter comeback, but fell just short in a 10-9 road loss to Union on Saturday afternoon. Despite being doubled-up on the score board through the first three quarters, the Thoroughbreds (4-5, 0-3 Liberty League) never relented, closing the game with a 4-0 shutout run in the final period to nearly complete the comeback against the Garnet Chargers (2-3, 1-0 Liberty League).
