Fighting Squirrels Fall in Pair of Games at Methodist
Mary Baldwin softball dropped both games of Saturday’s doubleheader against Methodist, falling 6-2 in Game 1 and 8-0 in Game 2. Game 1 Methodist used a four-run fourth inning to pull away and secure a 6-2 victory in the opener. Mary Baldwin struck first in the second inning when freshman Skylar Meriwether drove in a run with a single to give the Fighting Squirrels a 1-0 lead.
