Engineers Finish Weekend Sweep of Vassar
TROY, N.Y. 鈥� The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) baseball team completed a Liberty League doubleheader sweep of Vassar today at Robison Baseball Field, winning the opener 10-6 before closing the day with a 2-0 shutout in game two. RPI came out firing in the first game, striking for a run in the bottom of the first when Walker Abdallah singled and eventually scored on Alex Coombes’ RBI double to left.
