Colonels making Improvements but fall to Sewanee
Danville, KY – The Colonels attempted a late comeback but ultimately fell to Sewanee, 16–9. The opening period was a struggle for the Colonels, beginning with an early penalty on Emma Potter. Sewanee quickly capitalized, as Marlin Price found the back of the net to give the Tigers the early lead. Centre struggled to generate offense as Sewanee maintained momentum. The Tigers continued their run midway through the quarter with goals from Whitehead, Bean, Herrington, and Price, extending their lead to 5–0.
