Cowden-Herrick/Beecher Cit baseball had no answer for Newton on Friday as the Bobcats were held to just a pair of hits in an 11-0 loss at Newton in their season opener. Newton took an early 1-0 lead with a first inning run to open up the game鈥檚 scoring.
