Cardinals Field 3000m Top 10, Playing Host to J. Elmer Swanson Spring Classic
MIDDLETOWN, CT. – The Wesleyan men’s track and field team played host to an exciting J. Elmer Swanson Spring Classic, opening the outdoor portion of the season with a dominate performance in the 3000m as they swept the Top 10 finishes along with Liam Calhoun’s ’26 first-place ticket in the 1500m at the Andersen Track. RESULTS HIGHLIGHTS Calhoun struck gold in the 1500m, crossing the finish line with a top time of 3:57.82 while leading Alex Kermath ’26 in second place (4:01.76) and Bruce Lenes ’26 in fifth (4:05.77).
