RIO GRANDE VALLEY – Facing deficits in the second set on the four remaining courts, boisterous cheering from the team, donning the all-white uniforms, started to emerge on court four at Orville Cox Tennis Center Saturday. The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) women’s tennis held a 3-0 advantage over the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (TAMUCC) Islanders when sophomore Luna Buijtenhuijs , who faced an uphill battle trailing 4-1 in the second, turned the set into a 4-3 deficit in the blink of an eye.
